This opportunity provides funding for the organization of scientific conferences and courses that advance understanding in autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive aging, and brain function. The focus is on events that foster scientific exchange, collaboration, and align with the missions of the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) and related Simons Foundation neuroscience collaborations, including plasticity and the aging brain, ecological neuroscience, and systems/computational neuroscience. The grant aims to accelerate progress in basic and systems neuroscience by supporting high-impact gatherings featuring the latest discoveries and innovative approaches.
