Description
This opportunity funds the organization of conferences and courses that align with the scientific missions of the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI), Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB), Simons Collaboration on Ecological Neuroscience (SCENE), and Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB). The goal is to advance basic science in autism, promote healthy cognitive aging, and foster understanding of brain function in real-world contexts and systems/computational neuroscience. Priority is given to events that facilitate the exchange of scientific ideas, broaden participation in the scientific community, and open new career pathways in science and mathematics. The program encourages diversity, innovation, and high-quality scientific engagement.
