Description
This opportunity supports the organization of conferences and courses that further the scientific missions of the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI), Simons Collaboration on Plasticity and the Aging Brain (SCPAB), Simons Collaboration on Ecological Neuroscience (SCENE), and Simons Collaboration on the Global Brain (SCGB). The aim is to foster the exchange of scientific ideas and knowledge in autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive aging, and systems and computational neuroscience. The program prioritizes events that advance basic science in these areas, promote healthy cognitive aging, or explore how real-world interactions shape brain and mind representations. Applications are encouraged from organizers at nonprofit and academic institutions, with a commitment to broadening participation and diversity within the scientific community.
