    Description

The Autism Science Foundation’s Suzanne Wright Memorial Research Accelerator Grants help researchers expand the scope, goals, timeline, or outcomes of active autism research grants. Funding can speed progress, address a specific obstacle in scientific discovery, increase efficiency, or improve dissemination of final products. The program also supports creative analysis of existing data that have not previously been analyzed to answer questions relevant to autism research.

The grants leverage existing resources rather than fully fund standalone projects. Work in all areas of autism research is welcome, with particular interest in profound autism. ASF specifically encourages researchers from universities that have not previously received its funding, including historically Black colleges and universities. Parent projects may be funded by other sources or by ASF itself.
