Description
Run by Autodesk Research, the Residency Program brings together academic researchers, startups, and industry teams to investigate real-world design and make challenges. Projects must connect to at least one Autodesk industry: architecture, engineering and construction; product design and manufacturing; or media and entertainment. Autodesk is particularly interested in work that connects with its research areas, including AI, human-computer interaction, robotics, manufacturing, industrialized construction, and visualization.
Residents can collaborate with other teams and Autodesk employees, join programming, and use Autodesk tools. On-site teams can also access fabrication facilities and expertise at the Boston and San Francisco Technology Centers. The program offers an annual Academic Research Cohort and an Industry Research Network for ongoing practice and experimentation.
