Description
The American Venous Forum (AVF) Research Award supports high-quality research in venous and lymphatic disease aligned with the Forum’s mission. AVF is a professional medical society dedicated to improving care for patients with these conditions through research, education, and clinical practice. The award supports a defined research project, with resources directed toward the proposed work rather than unrelated research activities.
Research may take place at a single center or through multicenter studies and collaborations involving investigators from multiple institutions. Applicants must clearly define their role and how they will use the award funds. Projects run for one year within an 18-month award cycle, and recipients must present their completed work at the AVF Annual Meeting.
