Description
The American Association for Anatomy (AAA) presents this award to a member with a demonstrated record of leadership in establishing or promoting cultures of inclusiveness and participation, where everyone feels welcome and valued. It recognizes initiatives that cultivate, promote, and foster more inclusive educational and learning environments.
The award emphasizes both leadership and demonstrated outcomes: nominations must document initiatives undertaken and show how their outcomes benefit participants and students. Recognition includes an honorarium, support to attend the 2027 Anatomy Connected Meeting, complimentary registration, and an award plaque presented at the meeting’s Closing Awards Ceremony.
