Description
The AWM Travel Grants, administered by the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), are designed to support women mathematicians by providing funding for travel and subsistence to attend research conferences or to participate in collaborative research visits. The program includes two main types of grants:
- Travel Grants: Provide full or partial support for women mathematicians to attend domestic or international research conferences in their area of specialization, helping to advance their research activities and increase their visibility in the mathematical community.
- Mentoring Travel Grants: Facilitate junior women mathematicians in developing long-term research and mentoring relationships with senior mathematicians, supporting travel and accommodations for one-month collaborative research visits.
Both grant types aim to increase the presence and impact of women in mathematics, expand networking opportunities, and support professional advancement.
