Description
The AWS Imagine Grant is an annual competitive funding program from Amazon Web Services (AWS) designed to empower U.S.-based 501(c) nonprofit organizations to leverage cloud technology for mission advancement. The program seeks innovative proposals for pilot projects, proofs of concept, or technology-driven programs utilizing approaches like artificial intelligence, machine learning, high performance computing, and cloud migration.
There are three main award categories:
- Pathfinder Award: For frontier AI projects, including generative, agentic, or autonomous AI.
- Go Further, Faster Award: For highly innovative, cloud-based solutions with broad impact potential.
- Momentum to Modernize Award: For foundational technology transformation projects (e.g., cloud migration, app modernization).
