Description
The Axter Climate & Community Fund, administered by Suffolk Community Foundation, supports climate action and community health and wellbeing projects that positively affect people, the environment and nature. It provides project-cost grants to charities, community, voluntary and faith groups, and social enterprises in Suffolk.
The fund prioritises improving community health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities through greater access to Green Social Prescribing activities and interventions. It also supports work promoting the importance of community biodiversity and nature recovery. These priorities bring community wellbeing and environmental benefits together, with funding directed towards projects supporting people living in Suffolk.
