The Azrieli Foundation’s Graduate Studies Fellowship supports outstanding graduate researchers at Israeli academic institutions. It funds PhD research in natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, education, and architecture, as well as research master’s studies in architecture and urban planning. The program seeks scholars with strong academic records, exceptional personal achievements, leadership potential, and the capacity to make cutting-edge contributions to their fields.
Alongside financial support, fellows join a multidisciplinary community designed to encourage creative thinking, cross-cultural exchange, and research beyond disciplinary boundaries. Program activities offer leadership development, professional mentorship, opportunities to share research, and connections with scientists and scholars. Community volunteering complements academic work, reflecting the program’s emphasis on societal impact and strengthening academic links between Israel and the wider world.
