    Description

The Azrieli Foundation’s Science Grants Program advances basic and translational neuroscience, with a focus on neural development and neurodevelopmental disorders. It provides multi-year funding through peer-reviewed competitions for research that charts new scientific territory, introduces novel ideas, and encourages collaboration around specific themes. Its mission is to drive discoveries in the molecular, cellular, and physiological processes of brain development and homeostasis that could improve understanding of, and interventions for, neurodevelopmental disorders.

Alongside its own research competitions, the Foundation highlights funding opportunities offered with partner organizations. These span neuroscience, global health, brain medicine fellowships, and early-career researcher support, including Brain Canada Future Leaders, the Azrieli Brain Medicine fellowships, CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars, and the Joint Canada-Israel Health Research Program.
