The Balkan Language Initiative provides participants with highly individualized, immersive instruction in Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Montenegrin, and Serbian across six Balkan countries. The program combines homestays, classroom learning, conversation partners, and extracurricular activities, offering a unique opportunity to experience the daily life and culture of a region with limited study abroad representation. Participants earn academic credit through Bryn Mawr College and benefit from comprehensive logistical and emergency support.
