Description
This immersive residency at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity offers individual musicians, ensembles, composers, and music researchers from any genre the opportunity to focus on creative research, development, and project creation within Banff’s inspiring mountain campus. Participants benefit from 24-hour access to personal music studios, mentorship from acclaimed faculty, peer and mentor-led sessions, and opportunities to present new work in public concerts. The program is designed to foster artistic risk-taking, experimentation, and collaboration, while also providing chances for recording projects and engagement with a vibrant artistic community. The residency coincides with the Audio Recording Engineer Professional Training Program, expanding recording possibilities.
