--- ## Description This award assists ACSM members with travel expenses to present scholarly work focused on women’s health, sport, or physical activity at the ACSM Annual Meeting. The award is intended to support research, clinical care, or other academic contributions centered on women, and is funded through donations to the Women’s Health, Sport & Physical Activity Fund. --- ## Due Dates - March 13, 2026: Submission deadline (application due) --- ## Funding Amount - Each award is $1,000. - Three awards are given annually. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must be ACSM national members in good standing (chapter membership alone is not sufficient). - Open to: - Graduate and medical students enrolled full-time - Fellows - Early career members within two years of receiving a postgraduate degree or completing clinical training - All genders are eligible. - Applicants must be the first author and presenter of a poster or oral presentation accepted at the ACSM Annual Meeting. - Previous recipients of this specific award are not eligible. --- ## Application Process - Applicants must submit through the [ACSM Foundation Application Portal](https://acsm.secure-platform.com/site/). - You must sign in with your ACSM ID to access the application. - Only ACSM national members are eligible to apply. - The application requires confirmation of your accepted presentation at the ACSM Annual Meeting. - Winners are required to attend the Josephine L. Rathbone & Barbara L.
