This annual award provides a mid-career Canadian photographer with a fully funded, month-long residency at the Banff Centre's Crich Studio. The program is designed to encourage the development of Canadian contemporary photography by supporting independent research, creative exploration, and project development. The residency includes 24/7 access to a private studio with black and white analogue darkroom, digital print production support, technical assistance, accommodation, meal plan, a travel bursary, and a materials allowance. The awardee also has the opportunity to give a public talk and to showcase work in progress.
