Description
The Barra Postdoctoral Fellowship at the McNeil Center for Early American Studies is a two-year position designed for junior scholars whose research focuses on the histories and cultures of North America in the Atlantic world before 1850. Fellows benefit from private office space at the University of Pennsylvania, full library privileges, and the opportunity to teach two courses during their appointment. The remainder of their time is devoted to research, writing, and active engagement in the Center’s academic community. Projects utilizing Philadelphia-area archives, libraries, and museums are especially encouraged.
