The Basmajian Award, presented by the American Association for Anatomy (AAA), honors early-career health science faculty who teach human or veterinary gross anatomy and have demonstrated excellence in gross anatomy education along with outstanding accomplishments in biomedical research or educational scholarship. The award highlights the achievements of emerging educators and researchers advancing the anatomical sciences.
