Description
Run by UK Research and Innovation’s Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), DeepTech Catalyst Bio helps early-stage biotechnology start-ups develop innovations with commercial potential. It supports R&D that builds on previously supported research or commercialisation and addresses a clear market opportunity.
Alongside R&D funding, the incubator offers technical, commercial, business and intellectual property support, networking, and introductions to investors, customers and sector stakeholders. Companies can access UKRI campuses at Sci-Tech Daresbury, Rothamsted Enterprises and AberInnovation, with additional specialist support available from The Pirbright Institute.
