Description
The BC NEIHR Doctoral Scholarship Program provides annual financial support for Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) doctoral students enrolled at British Columbia institutions. The program aims to foster research skill development and assist with the financial, family, community, and cultural responsibilities of Indigenous trainees. This scholarship is part of a broader suite of Indigenous graduate and postdoctoral funding opportunities coordinated by the BC Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (BC NEIHR), which is supported by CIHR and provincial partners. The overarching goal is to empower Indigenous scholars to pursue advanced research and academic training in partnership with Indigenous communities and organizations.
