This program provides financial support to Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) graduate students and postdoctoral fellows enrolled at British Columbia (BC) institutions. The goal is to develop research skills, promote research excellence, and ease financial, family, community, and cultural responsibilities. Annual competitions are held for Master’s and Doctoral scholarships, and biennial competitions for Postdoctoral fellowships. The program strongly encourages projects demonstrating partnership potential with Indigenous communities, collectives, or organizations.
