Description
The BC NEIHR Doctoral Scholarship Renewal Program provides annual renewal funding to Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit) doctoral students enrolled at British Columbia institutions who are current recipients of a BC NEIHR doctoral scholarship. The initiative aims to strengthen Indigenous research capacity by supporting scholars who demonstrate excellence in graduate research, a commitment to advancing Indigenous wellness, and active engagement with Indigenous communities or organizations. Funding is intended to help recipients balance academic, financial, family, community, and cultural responsibilities as they continue their doctoral studies.
