Description
Presented by the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) as part of its Distinguished Scientist Awards, this award stimulates and recognizes outstanding achievements in behavioral science and health services research related to dentistry. Nominees must demonstrate that they have conducted original investigations related to dentistry in a discipline involving behavioral science or health service research.
The award honors an individual's research achievements rather than funding a prospective research project. Recipients are selected by the IADR Science Awards Committee, supported by award subcommittees consisting of previous recipients. Recognition includes a monetary prize and commemorative plaque, with the award announced at the Opening Ceremonies of the IADR General Session & Exhibition.
