Description
The Belmont County Enrichment Fund supports meaningful projects that enrich the community and improve quality of life for Belmont County, Ohio, residents. Created in 2013 by a group of local landowners, the fund is administered by the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV), with funding determinations made by the fund’s advisory committee.
The program serves eligible charitable organizations based in or serving Belmont County. Its application identifies project areas including basic human needs, economic development, education, STEM education, substance abuse, workforce development, and other community needs. Applicants describe the issues their projects address, their intended outcomes, and how success will be measured. The fund excludes fundraising events, scholarships, animal welfare, and completed projects, including debt reduction.
