Description
The Bernard G. Sarnat Award in Craniofacial Biology recognizes original, outstanding research on craniofacial growth and development. Offered by the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) through its Craniofacial Biology Group, it invites applications from PhD students and postdoctoral fellows. The award is supported by interest from Dr. Bernard G. Sarnat’s endowment and by group members.
Applicants submit research for presentation at the IADR General Session. Abstracts are assessed for originality, scientific design, appropriate methods of analysis, and scientific value. Selected finalists also present their work and answer questions during judging at the meeting.
