Description
The Bernard G. Sarnat Award in Craniofacial Biology honors PhD students and postdoctoral fellows for original and outstanding research on craniofacial growth and development. Sponsored by an endowment from Dr. Bernard G. Sarnat and the Craniofacial Biology Group, this award is presented annually at the IADR General Session. Applicants must submit an abstract as the primary author and presenter; finalists are selected based on the abstract's scientific merit and are further evaluated on the quality of their presentation and responses during the session. The winner receives a $500 cash prize and an engraved plaque, with recognition at the Craniofacial Biology Group business meeting.
