Description
The Betty Taylor Memorial Award honors the legacy of artist Betty Taylor by supporting emerging artists with financial need in the visual arts and crafts. Funded by the Ellen (Betty) Taylor Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of Henderson County and administered in partnership with the Arts Council of Henderson County, this award is designed to help artists advance their careers through educational opportunities, advanced projects, marketing, and related pursuits. Recipients are expected to clearly articulate how their proposed project will contribute to their professional growth and are invited to showcase their new work approximately one year after receiving the award.
