Description
This program provides financial assistance to organizations developing or expanding beverage container recycling infrastructure within California. The goal is to increase the recovery and processing of California Redemption Value (CRV)-eligible beverage containers, especially by establishing or expanding certified processing facilities, particularly in underserved areas. Funding can be used for machinery, equipment, working capital, and facility improvements. The program is designed to maximize recycling capacity, promote environmental sustainability, and support California’s circular economy initiatives.
