The Beverly Petterson Bishop Award for Excellence in Neuroscience is an annual recognition granted by the American Physiological Society (APS) to an investigator who demonstrates outstanding promise in neuroscience or neurophysiology research. The award highlights impactful and innovative achievements and is intended to support early-career researchers as they advance their scientific programs. Recipients are selected by a committee representing the Central Nervous System (CNS) and Neural Control and Autonomic Regulation (NCAR) sections of APS.
