Description
The Beyond Idea Grant (BIG) Program, administered by the South Dakota Community Foundation, is designed to support innovative and ongoing community-based projects that improve life in South Dakota. The program encourages the development, testing, and dissemination of ideas that drive equitable change, leadership development, and community engagement across the state. Grants are awarded annually to public nonprofits or projects with verified fiscal sponsors, with a focus on meaningful investment, inclusive project plans, and demonstrated community support.
Projects may be in the early stages of development or already established but seeking to expand or test new approaches. The BIG Program aims to inspire, equip, and connect leaders to address local needs and foster statewide impact through collaboration and shared learning.
