Description
The Beyond the Classroom Grant is administered by the Nanovic Institute for European Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Through a competitive funding process, it supports substantive faculty-led projects that enliven European studies by extending student learning beyond regular classroom activity.
The grant focuses on extracurricular student learning experiences, including experiential learning opportunities. Projects may bring together students enrolled in the same class or students who share an interest in a topic. These settings allow faculty to build on a shared course experience or a common subject interest, with faculty leadership and engagement in European studies at the center of the project.
