Description
The British Heart Foundation (BHF) Research Professorships are prestigious awards designed to foster world-class leadership and expand the impact of cardiovascular research in the UK. The scheme supports exceptional researchers positioned to attain and sustain international leadership, enabling them to develop innovative research portfolios that can disrupt current scientific paradigms. Professors funded through this award are expected to build critical mass within their institutions, act as BHF ambassadors, and advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities in cardiovascular science.
