Description
The Maine Department of Transportation’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Funding is a statewide initiative designed to help communities enhance safety, accessibility, and infrastructure for pedestrians and bicyclists. The program primarily supports the design and construction of sidewalks, bicycle lanes, multi-use trails, intersection improvements, enhanced crossings, and other transportation enhancements that promote ADA compliance, safety, and community livability.
