The Biennial Research Program, administered by Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, funds collaborative research projects designed to advance the understanding, management, and wise use of Georgia’s coastal and marine ecosystems. The program emphasizes real-world impact by requiring integration of research, extension, and/or education components, and encourages partnerships among academic researchers, extension agents, community members, educators, and decision-makers.
