Description
The Ohio Arts Council’s Big Yellow School Bus program helps schools and other educational groups cover transportation for student field trips to professional arts and culturally diverse activities. Eligible destinations within Ohio include art galleries, museums, festivals, exhibitions, and music, dance, or theatre performances.
The program aims to give students access to arts experiences they might otherwise miss, build connections with Ohio’s creative sector, and reinforce classroom arts learning. Trips must have a clear educational purpose and provide an arts learning experience tied to educational standards. Applicants arrange both the transportation and the destination.
