Description
The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation’s 2027 Belux national research grant supports one fundamental or clinical research project on “Gut microbiota in human health or diseases.” The program continues Biocodex’s longstanding involvement in gut microbiota research and supports scientific work investigating its relationship with human health and disease. It is open to doctors in medicine and researchers working in Belux.
Selection is based on scientific quality and originality. An independent, three-member scientific committee reviews proposals and reaches its decision through full agreement at a consensus meeting. Biocodex Benelux does not participate in the review process. The supported researcher must share results through an oral or poster presentation at a national or international scientific conference and provide a progress report after one year.
