Description
Biogen’s Investigator-Initiated Research program supports proposals developed independently by investigators rather than solicited by Biogen. It covers preclinical, clinical, outcomes-related, and disease-state research, including interventional and non-interventional clinical studies, nonclinical studies, and analyses of existing data. Biogen may provide funding, study drug, or access to its datasets and banked laboratory samples.
The program aims to advance research aligned with Biogen’s objectives and published areas of interest while addressing important scientific questions or unmet patient needs. Biogen considers scientific rigor, feasibility, and the importance and publishability of potential results, as well as research involving special populations or improving understanding of health inequities.
