Description
The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Biology Division offers travel awards to help undergraduates attend meetings, present original biological research, and interact with primary researchers in their discipline. A limited number of awards of up to $250 each are available for the Fall 2026 opportunity.
Presentations at discipline-specific meetings are preferred. The division also considers biological abstracts submitted to meetings focused on underrepresented populations, such as SACNAS, ABRCMS, and AISES. Selection emphasizes the scholarly merit of the student’s abstract, the reason for attending the chosen meeting, and the anticipated benefits of the conference experience.
