The Black Giving Collective, administered by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, funds Black-led and Black-owned community initiatives that address disparities affecting the Black community within Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties. Guided by the findings of the 2024 State of Black Rochester report, the program aims to create long-term, systemic change through targeted investments in community leadership, education, economic mobility, health and wellness, school success, and violence prevention. Grant funds may be used for program support, capacity building, technology and digital infrastructure, and community engagement.
