The Black Giving Collective, administered by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, funds Black-led and Black-owned organizations working to address disparities in the Black community across Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties. Guided by the 2024 State of Black Rochester report, the Collective aims to create lasting systemic change through investments in areas such as community leadership, educational excellence, economic mobility, healthcare and wellness, school success, and violence prevention. Grants may support program delivery, capacity building, technology and digital infrastructure, community engagement, and other initiatives that strengthen and uplift Black communities.
