The Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in the United Kingdom are among the country’s most prestigious honors for early-career faculty-rank researchers in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemical Sciences. Supported by the Blavatnik Family Foundation and administered by The New York Academy of Sciences, the Awards aim to recognize outstanding accomplishments and future promise, promote scientific innovation, and foster the next generation of scientific leaders. Each year, one Laureate per category receives a significant unrestricted award, with two Finalists per category also recognized. The Awards emphasize diversity and encourage nominations of underrepresented groups in STEM.
