The Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists in the United Kingdom honor the country’s most innovative and promising early-career faculty-rank researchers in the fields of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences & Engineering, and Chemical Sciences. Supported by the Blavatnik Family Foundation and administered by the New York Academy of Sciences, the awards aim to accelerate scientific discovery and innovation by recognizing exceptional independent research and future potential. Each year, one Laureate in each category receives a major unrestricted award, with additional recognition for two Finalists per category. The program strongly encourages nominations of women and underrepresented groups in STEM.
