Description
The Bliss, Gross, Horowitz Fund Grants, administered by the Rhode Island Foundation, are designed to support charitable Jewish community organizations located in and serving the greater Providence, Rhode Island area. The fund aims to:
- Foster connections between the Jewish community and the broader Rhode Island population through community service projects.
- Deepen understanding of Jewish life and culture via scholarship and historic preservation.
- Provide for basic human needs such as food, clothing, housing, or prescription assistance.
- Support organizational development for Jewish institutions, including strategic planning, board development, and program evaluation.
All funded projects must be non-sectarian in nature and designed to reach beyond the core constituency of any single institution. Capital requests are not considered.
