The Bliss Symposium Awards provide financial support for graduate and advanced undergraduate students to attend Dumbarton Oaks’ annual symposia in Byzantine, Pre-Columbian, and Garden and Landscape Studies. Awardees are expected to actively participate in the event by assisting with light conference logistics, facilitating discussion, and submitting a short written feature on a topic related to the symposium’s scholarship.
