Description
The Blood and Marrow Transplant Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is a one-year advanced clinical and research training program designed for physicians who have completed an accredited Hematology fellowship. The fellowship provides extensive preparation for careers in blood and marrow transplantation, emphasizing multidisciplinary care for hematologic malignancies such as lymphoma, multiple myeloma, leukemias, amyloidosis, and myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative disorders. Fellows benefit from both inpatient and outpatient clinical experience, laboratory training in key procedures (e.g., histocompatibility testing, stem cell harvesting, cryopreservation), and robust research opportunities.
