Description
The Boating and Fishing Access Program, administered by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF), provides financial assistance to local governmental entities for the development, construction, renovation, or improvement of public boating and fishing access facilities across Louisiana. Supported by the federal Sport Fish Restoration Program, the initiative aims to enhance recreational opportunities for boaters and anglers by funding a broad range of access projects, including auxiliary structures and amenities. All funded projects must ensure unrestricted public access and demonstrate a clear benefit to recreational boaters and/or anglers.
