Description
The Boating Infrastructure Grant (BIG) Program, administered by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries (LDWF), funds the development, renovation, and maintenance of tie-up facilities and amenities for transient recreational boats 26 feet or longer. The program aims to enhance access and convenience for transient boaters in Louisiana through infrastructure improvements, navigational aids, and boater-specific amenities. Both public entities and private marinas may apply as local sponsors, provided they meet eligibility and land control requirements.
