Description
The Book Club of Washington Scholarship is an annual scholarship administered by Rare Book School (RBS), based at the University of Virginia. It supports applicants with an interest in the history of books, bibliography, or book arts who reside in Washington State or work at a Washington-based institution. The scholarship provides educational support through RBS courses rather than funding a separate research project.
Supported study may include an in-person course, a 22-hour online course, or two short online courses under RBS’s general scholarship terms. The award provides course credit rather than cash and is usable only within RBS’s own course offerings. Scholarship selection and course admission are separate processes: recipients must subsequently gain admission to the course for which they wish to use their credit.
