Description
The Book Completion Award (BCA) is designed to assist tenure-track and tenured faculty at the City University of New York (CUNY) in the arts, humanities, and social sciences as they develop research projects into publishable book manuscripts. The program supports projects at various stages, from early development and prospectus to near-completion and works already accepted for publication. Funding can be used for costs such as editing, copy-editing, fact-checking, indexing, research-related expenses, technical costs (e.g., copyright permissions), and limited summer salary. The award aims to foster academic excellence by providing resources that help scholars bring significant book projects to fruition with academic or established publishers.
