Description
The Books in Progress Fellowship, offered by the Folger Shakespeare Library, is designed to assist early career scholars working on book manuscripts in the early modern humanities who do not have institutional support for manuscript review. The fellowship emphasizes projects with significant impact, originality, and relevance, particularly those addressing inequities or marginalized subjects. Fellows participate in an onsite review workshop at the Folger, receiving detailed feedback from selected expert Readers and a Committee Chair, with the aim of fostering richer and more inclusive scholarship.
