The Foundation for Cancer Research in Italy (AIRC) offers annual, biennial, and triennial fellowships to support early-career researchers in Italy as they develop the skills and experience necessary for a career in cancer research. These fellowships are designed to provide young scientists—both those with and without a PhD—with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of scientific research in leading Italian institutions. The majority of resources are allocated to three-year fellowships, giving recipients ample time to build a strong research foundation.
