Description
The Branco Weiss Fellowship – Society in Science is an international program designed to support exceptional postdoctoral researchers who propose bold, original projects that depart from mainstream research and engage with societal issues. The fellowship encourages interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary work, supporting fellows for up to five years as they develop their research and transition toward faculty positions. Fellows are expected to demonstrate outstanding scientific achievement and a willingness to engage in dialogue on social, cultural, political, or economic topics that extend beyond their primary discipline.
