Description
The ACS-SBQ "Brazilian Women in Chemistry Awards" is a joint initiative of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Brazilian Chemical Society (SBQ) designed to promote gender equality and celebrate the achievements of women scientists in the Brazilian chemistry community. The program honors women for significant contributions and leadership in chemistry and related sciences. Awards are made in three categories: Emerging Leader in Chemistry and Related Sciences, Leadership in Industry, and Leadership in Academia. Each winner receives a cash prize, professional memberships, recognition in scientific media, and opportunities for professional development.
