Description
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) funds creative new directions in clinical and translational breast cancer research that need seed funding. Its goal is to advance the prevention, understanding, and treatment of breast cancer toward prevention and cure. Investigators have considerable latitude to pursue promising ideas, and BCRF encourages creative collaborations.
BCRF’s Scientific Advisory Board seeks out scientists and clinical investigators whose thinking could move the field forward. It reviews invited proposals and recommends awards to BCRF’s Board of Directors, which approves funding decisions. The foundation supports researchers across a global network while awarding its research grants to academic medical institutions.
