Description
The Bridging the Gap Research Award, offered by the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM), provides postdoctoral student members with resources and mentorship to develop strong, competitive research grant proposals in behavioral medicine. The award is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by early-career researchers, offering flexible funding that can be used for research preparation activities such as acquiring equipment, conducting analyses, data collection, consulting, and professional development. In addition to financial support, recipients are paired with an experienced SBM Fellow or behavioral medicine expert for a year-long mentorship, along with guidance from past awardees.
