Description
The Wyoming Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities is preparing the Bright Idea Grant Program to support innovative projects shaped by people who live and work in Wyoming. The Council encourages conversations and partnerships that turn local ideas into projects responsive to community needs and beneficial to people with developmental disabilities.
The program draws inspiration from the Council's Five-Year Plan. Its Bright Idea campaign highlights employment and independence; leadership, rights, and safety; systems change and breaking barriers; and inclusive safety and emergency preparedness. These themes are intended to spark locally developed ideas rather than prescribe a project.
